Golf and Wine in Italy has an exciting program in place for July 2010.
Join Australia’s noted Italian wine expert (and keen golfer) Michael Trembath,
his partner, cook and chocolatier Elizabeth Toumbos, and some celebrity winemakers
on your choice of one of four great tours. Each tour includes some of Italy’s best golf courses and
wine producers. Along the way are fabulous meals and first rate accommodation.
There is also time to visit historic destinations and great shopping precincts.

TOUR 1: THE GRAND TOUR - 15 days
Monday July 5 - Monday July 19, 2010

Commencing in Rome, the Grand Tour plays at six of Italy’s best golf courses. Along the way are eight of Italy’s most celebrated wine producers in well-known regions such as Tuscany, Piedmont, Franciacorta and the Veneto.

TOUR 2: ROME TO BRA - 10 days
Monday July 5 - Wednesday July 14, 2010

This tour includes four rounds of golf - 2 being at two of Italy’s oldest established courses. Five wine visits culminate in a unique visit to the fabulous cellars at Piedmont’s University of Gastronomic Sciences.

TOUR 3: DESENZANO TO VENICE - 6 days
Wednesday July 14 - Monday July 19, 2010

The theme revolves around water - play golf on beautiful Lake Garda and at Venice. The latter course being host to three Italian Opens. The winery visits are to two of Italy’s best producers, in Franciacorta and Soave.

TOUR 4: THE LAKE IDYLL - 8 days
Thursday July 22 - Thursday July 29, 2010

New in 2010, the Lake Idyll reflects the growing golf interest in Italy’s lake region and comprises eight days on beautiful Lake Garda, a choice of five golf courses and superb food and wine.
